The project was to bring new life to existing Science facilities in two buildings.

Traditional perimeter benched labs were replaced by an island-benched Wet Lab bookended by GLA either side. The Wet Lab can open via large glazed sliders to either GLA or to the outside covered area to allow a variety of delivery modes for practical and theoretical scientific learning, and good visibility to let learning be on display. A centralised preparation area and storage allows oversight of specialist areas.

Ceilings and walls were upgraded to achieve improved acoustic and visual amenity without compromising the low ceiling height.
